Thomas Sidor

Amherst, Massachusetts, United States

I am a sophomore Hospitality and Tourism Management major at the Isenberg School of Business at Umass Amherst. My focus is going to be in food and beverage management. I hope to one day own my own bar or craft brewery. Aside from school, my major passions and interests include punk rock, hardcore, Chelsea FC and being outdoors.

Growing up in New England has been amazing because it is an area that encompasses so many things that I am interested in. There is a great music scene to experience here and a beautiful outdoors to be explored and enjoyed.

Music has always been important to me. Hardcore and punk are two types of music that I am very drawn to because of the energy and excitement that they bring.

Likewise, being outdoors gives me the same feeling. Some of the more interesting things that I have done include backpacking and whitewater rafting in Montana, hiking and ziplining in a rainforest in Costa Rica, and hiking the Lafayette Loop in New Hampshire.
