Sidra is the community builder who lives, breathes and walks literature. She is the epitome of storytelling across Asia. Be it her digital advocacy where she calls spade a spade or her on-ground prowess of pulling massive crowds for social causes at will, she is the one who gets things done.
She is a top-notch social activist and a social entrepreneur of the literary industry with a proven four-year record where she scaled Young Women Writers’ forum from one city to a national network comprising of six chapters, featuring 600+ women writers. She co-founded Words and Metaphors, KPs first storytelling platform which uses storytelling as a tool to deliver social awareness among masses in local languages. She leads Peshawar book club which has arranged over 30 back to back sittings since April 2016.
In light of her exceptional services, House of Federation awarded her with the title of ‘Unsung Heroes of Pakistan’. Last year, she was chosen by US State Embassy as one of the top 25 Pakistani women leaders for TechCamp Dubai. She came back and trained two dozen women entrepreneurs with the skills she acquired.
She has arranged over 100 bootstrapped events all across Pakistan to accelerate the brand’s growth. She actively uses her connections in media, govt and development sector to make things happen.
