Siedah Martey

Student in London, United Kingdom

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a law graduate of the University of Edinburgh School of Law, and the former President of the Edinburgh University Cheerleading Club, also known as the EU Vixens.

My parents are originally from Ghana and Trinidad, but I was born and raised in Northampton, England, and currently reside in London, England, where I am completing a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School. A lot of Canadian and British culture has influenced who I am today, so I am proud to called a 'third culture kid', and accept international travel and a being a hybrid of culture as an integral part of my life.

As an international student, I feel one of the benefits of attending the University of Edinburgh was being able to meet people from all over the world; an exposure I feel that has impacted my own ability to connect with my own heritage, as well as my ability to relate to the international Alumni and other international students.
