Jazmin Sierra

I am a fifth year Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at Brown University specializing in comparative and international political economy. I earned a M.A. in Political Science from Brown University and a B.A. in International Studies from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, Argentina). My research interests include the developmental state, state-business relations, geopolitics of oil and Brazilian politics. My dissertation, which explores the role of the state in the emergence of developing country multinational corporations, has received funding from the Social Science Research Council (IDRF-SSRC). I am a currently a graduate fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies.
