Sierra Pilcher

British Columbia, Canada

With eye-opening travels to third-world countries, and over 5,000 hours of volunteer work under my belt, my goal is to give back to my local and global community any way I can. As a Youth Camp Leader, Youth Mentor, and respite care provider, I am very passionate about empowering others to strive for their personal best.

As a concerned global citizen, I ran my own campaign where I collected hundreds of pairs of recycled eye glasses for villagers in developing countries. Before the end of my highschool career, I had initiated and implemented a Peer Mediation class, as well as a Youth Advocacy Program in my school to help younger students rise above bullying, peer pressure, and substance abuse.

Aside from this, I love my job - helping students find their voices through music is one of the most rewarding jobs anyone could ever have! I personally use my own voice and original songs to fundraise for multiple different charities.

Coupling this with my hosting position on a local television show, I am able to reach out to other youth and motivate them to get involved and make a difference. Having competed for Miss Teen Canada, and having the title of Miss Teen Surrey, I intend to use the remainder of my reign to further my passion for youth empowerment.
