Jeremy Sippel

St. Cloud, MN

I come from small town Wisconsin and grew up being a busy person either going from Boy Scouts, to soccer, to church groups. This resonated throughout my entire younger years and left a foundation to my leadership roles in college.

I went to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for 2 years as a Music Education major. I played with the Jazz Band as well as the Symphonic Band. Music has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I have always wanted to be the inspiration for students as my music teachers were for me.

After 2 years at La Crosse, I transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I chose to pursue Political Science and Legal Studies. I have always had an interest in Law as I grew up with father being a police officer. At Whitewater I found a home within Residence Life by serving on the Residence Hall Association Assembly for a semester and then being elected as Programmer for the following 2 years. I was blessed with being voted into this position by two assemblies and getting to work for the University's Residence Hall population. I loved the position and was disappointed that I had to leave after graduation.

I previously worked St. Cloud State University as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Campus Involvement working with Student Organizations. I loved my job because I got to work with a great group of students and put on fun events such as the Mainstreet student organization activity fair which is a university tradition.
