Silence Fiction

Silence Fiction is a five-piece band, hailing from Athens, GR. Their music consists of alternative-rock, ambient and post rock elements. With female vocals, Indie and Avant Rock influences, the band aims to the creation of a unique sound that will boast all of the categories mentioned above. Their genre is the outcome of several alterations to the band’s influences and members, counting from mid-October of 2009, in the heart of Athens.
After the first two years of performing under the Alternative and Hard Rock stream, and having caught a glimpse from the 2011 Schoolwave Festival stage, the 4 members, at that time, expressed the need to develop their music genre with a view to turning it into something different. After Alex joined in as a second guitarist, the founding members of the group came to realize that they had found what they were looking for.
