Matthew Silich

Hi, my name's Matthew, Matt for short (obviously). I was born in Reston, Virginia, on August 21st, 1995, and I moved to East Hampton, New York when I was four. I have two amazing parents who double as my source of life and as exquisite landscapers, running a business together by the name of Groundworks Landscaping (run alongside my "second-mom" Kim*). My mom's a personal trainer and the most compassionate woman I've encountered in my life. My dad's terrifyingly intelligent and witty (I miss watching Jeopardy! with him) and would drop everything to help me in a heartbeat. I have an older sister, Erica, who is 20 and attends High Point University. Besides a major difference in music taste, she's basically me in female form. I also have a younger brother, who is 16 and is currently serving jail time at East Hampton High School**. He's my best friend and is the number one thing I miss while away at college. My favorite genres of music are trap, dubstep and general EDM, but I listen to almost all genres. My favorite TV shows are the Office (try to beat me at trivia I dare you), Parks and Rec., Weeds, American Horror Story, and Walking Dead. Though I don't really have any favorites, I love all types of movies (especially horror because they make me laugh). If you're funny, I like you. If you're funny AND a genuinely nice person, we're gonna be friends. Perfect representation of such a friend is Margaux, my beautiful best friend in my bio photo. I also have a dopey yet adorable labrador retriever named Bear*** (he's white, though slightly golden) and he brings me nothing but happiness. I miss him so much. Get to know me if you'd like!

*- Kim's my mom's best friend of all time, though, I refer to her as my "second mom" as she's been there for me all throughout my life. If biologically and legally possible, she'd be my 3rd parent. She's a redhead and is the funniest adult I know.
