Silke Walther

Hello, I’m Silke. I’m currently engaged as project manager of research development and as academic writer in Germany. Trained as a journalist, online-editor and visual arts professional, I have built up some expertise in modern and contemporary arts, and related photo-media cultures. Used to a dynamic, creative (start-up) environment, I am continuously interested in transformation driven by science, innovation and technology, not only but mainly in the field of current art and design. Since the UNESCO Year of Light (2015), I am also contributing to interdisciplinary research on 21 th century ars photonica and current internet art.
