Silke Duis

Silke Duis, born in 1978 in Datteln, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a German real estate expert, qualified lawyer, and certified building appraiser for property valuation. Since 2012, she has been the owner of the real estate agency Immobilien Duis, based in Waltrop.

Education

After completing her Abitur in 1998, Silke Duis studied law at Ruhr University Bochum. She passed the First State Examination in Law in 2003. She additionally qualified as a certified building appraiser for property valuation and specialized in the valuation, marketing, and financing of real estate. This combination of legal expertise, professional appraisal, and financial knowledge forms the foundation of her work.

Immobilien Duis

With her agency Immobilien Duis, founded in 2012, Silke Duis advises property owners and prospective buyers on the marketing and valuation of residential and commercial real estate. Her work includes determining market value, preparing and marketing properties, and providing guidance on financing questions. The service portfolio covers the procurement of relevant documents, the creation of exposés including virtual 360-degree tours, credit checks of prospective buyers, and coordination through to notarial certification and property handover.

The agency has successfully marketed more than 600 properties to date. Immobilien Duis has been named a Premium Partner by user reviews on ImmoScout24, Germany's largest real estate portal, for eight consecutive years, from 2015 to 2022.

Silke Duis is the only real estate agent in Germany who combines the roles of lawyer, certified building appraiser for property valuation, and financing expert in one person. She was under contract with the German television network VOX as a real estate agent for the series "Mein Traumhaus am Meer" (My Dream Home by the Sea), in which she appeared in the context of property brokerage.

Additional activities and engagement

Alongside her professional work, Silke Duis has been engaged for many years in the promotion of children and youth. She was also active in local politics for several years, including as the first female chairwoman of the CDU in Waltrop and in a board position of the Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsunion (Union of Small and Medium Enterprises). She is not currently affiliated with any political party.

Under the brand Glücksspionin (Happiness Spy), Silke Duis develops projects focused on personal development and life design. The approach combines her professional experience in the real estate industry with topics of personal goal orientation, decision-making, and life planning.

Silke Duis lives in North Rhine-Westphalia and is the mother of two daughters.
