I aam a writer and photographer living in South Australia. Over the last twenty years I have written and photo-illustrated over 20 library books on Australian wildlife for primary and secondary students. I have also written numerous articles for travel, wildlife and dive magazines

My background is in education and I have worked as a zoo education officer, science adviser and curriculum writer.

The purpose of this blog is to promote the unique wildlife and environments in my home state of South Australia- a place often overlooked by tourists visiting Australia. Cheers, Baz
