If there's one thing I am passionate towards, it is make-up artistry. I first became interested in the make-up industry my junior year of high school. I believe that it is much more than simply cosmetics, it is also an art where one can express themselves. I could wander in makeup aisles and test out and sample products for hours and realize how much there is to learn within the makeup industry. Women can and should be self-confident without needing the assistance of cosmetics, but it is also something that can be used as a confidence booster. I am currently a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and am studying finance. My dream would be to one day work for a major beauty corporation such as Sephora, Ulta, and Shiseido with a career that involves financial or accounting skills. Make-up is a passion and I enjoy giving advice to people who may ask about a certain product I've used or products and brands that they should test because they know how much it pleases me to do research and experiment different products. As I've been taking business courses for the past 2 years, I realize how much goes into certain products and how important little details such as the packaging of the product is.
