Rune Sølvsteen
Rune Sølvsteen is co-founder and partner off Defacto Partners, a company specialised in strategy advice to mainly consumer companies in the areas of Internet, eCommerce, Online Marketing & Multi-Channel Retailing.
Among other clients Defacto Partners work with Hunkemöller where Sølvsteen holds the position of eCommerce Director ad interim responsible for the online shop and implementing of the multi channel strategy. Sølvsteen also holds a seat on the Merchant Risk Council Advocacy Committee.
Previous to establishing Defacto Partners, Sølvsteen worked as Industry Leader Retail & Board member at Google Benelux with responsibility for the sales to and guidance off the retail sector. A role where he worked intensively with the largest retailers in The Netherlands advising them on marketing strategies & their implementation.
Sølvsteen holds an MBA from INSEAD and has earlier worked as Regional Marketing Director by Nike EMEA where he was responsible for the marketing off NikeStore & NIKEiD in Europe and as Strategy Consultant by Bain & Company.
