Hello! My name is Silvia and I am 22 years old. I am studying a degree in Elementary Education at the University of Valladolid.

I grew up in small village near Segovia. It has a beautiful church, a river and lots of parks where you can see all your neighbors and friends.

My family has always been important to me. I live in a large house with my extended family, and I feel lucky to celebrate family occasions with all of my relatives.

Education has always being my devotion. I love kids and working with them.

Regarding my teaching experience, I have given English lessons to children and teenagers in an English language academy and I have tutored elementary and high school age students in general education subjects as well. I have also worked as a summer camp counselor with English immersion.

Last year, I did my internship in an Immersion School in Minnesota, in the United States. Not only was I able to learn new teaching strategies and classroom management techniques but also to travel around the United States. This experience was awesome; I really learn and enjoyed it a lot.

In my spare time, I love going out with my friends and spending time with them. The sports I like the most are running, swimming and hiking. However, dancing is my passion. I also love travelling and knowing other cultures.

When I think about teaching subjects in English I believed that it is going to be challenging. However, I am going to try very hard to be a CLIL teacher.

I'm very excited to do this telecollaborative exchange. It appears really useful as we are going to exchange ideas about the CLIL methodology.
