Born in 1979 in Bucharest, Romania, Silvia Trăistaru is a dedicated artist and conservator. She is the founder of STart CONSERVATION, a private studio specializing in the conservation of modern and contemporary art.
Education
In 2002, Silvia earned her BA from the Restoration and Conservation Department at the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
Studio
Since 2021, she has been part of Atelierele Malmaison (Malmaison Studios), where she established Camera 30, her personal studio and exhibition space in Bucharest.
Awards
In 2010, she was a finalist and special prize winner at the 4th International Arte Laguna Prize at the Venice Arsenale, curated by Igor Zanti and Viviana Siviero.
