Hi there everyone! My name is Tomi Simanic and I am currently in my 2nd year of teaching. My first year I spent teaching in England, just outside of London.

Taking this course will help me with finding better ways to make sure I can fully support the diversifying classroom. I want to make sure I provide all my students the chance to succeed to their highest ability.

As a first-generation Canadian, I have learnt from my parents and my family around me how difficult it was to thrive in an education system that was not built for students from another country.
