, Simbiat: A Journey of Growth, Grit, and Purpose

From watching her mother navigate the world of trade with resilience to becoming a leader, entrepreneur, and knowledge-driven professional, Simbiat’s journey is one of continuous learning and impact.

With a background in Environmental Biology and a commitment to personal and professional development, she has explored multiple fields, from leadership and entrepreneurship to project management. Her leadership experience includes serving as the President of JCIN YABATECH in 2022, where she spearheaded initiatives like the Prime Leadership Business Summit and financial literacy training, equipping young leaders with essential business and financial skills.

Entrepreneurial at heart, Simbiat founded Abike’s Dot, a shoemaking brand dedicated to providing not just footwear but an experience of confidence and comfort. As she builds her business, she is also focused on acquiring relevant skills, currently upskilling in Virtual Assistance, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Google Project Management.

Her passion for growth extends beyond herself—she actively documents her learning journey, helping young people simplify their goals into daily actionable steps. She believes in practical, hands-on learning and has adopted an action-first approach to skill-building. Through her content, she shares real, unfiltered experiences, making personal development feel attainable and realistic.

Now, as she works toward securing a hybrid role, officially launching Abike’s Dot, and expanding her expertise in marketing, project management, and business development, one thing remains constant—her commitment to growth, execution, and creating impact.

This is just the beginning.
