Simon is founder and CEO of North Shore Labs, the digital transformation people. North Shore Labs is a consulting and technology startup that spun out of NICTA in 2015. North Shore Labs is developing technologies that bring capacity for systemic organisational transformation to the companies that need it most but can afford it least: SMEs.

Simon established one of Australia's most successful programs, 'Group X', to encourage young people to study digital careers. Group X led a doubling of tertiary applications to study ICT in Queensland from 2007.
