I am an MSc graduate passionate about science, technology, gadgets, adventure biking and human development, especially that benefitting South Africa and other growing 3rd world nations.

My research focus was in the field of structural biology, specifically solving the structures of proteins from Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that causes Tuberculosis or TB. One third of the world's population is estimated to be infected with TB, which is considered one of the world's top infectious killers. I am doing my bit to help understand this disease in an attempt to reduce and hopefully eradicate it.

I believe that education and youth development are the future of our country!
