Simon Warburton

Cambridge and Hertfordshire

I work in a secondary school in Cambridgeshire and lead the curriculum, develop teaching and learning, write the timetable and coordinate the use of data to support school improvement. I have extensive experience in using RAISEOnline and tracking tools to analyse school effectiveness and monitor the impact of interventions over time.

I completed my NPQH programme in October 2012, worked as a lead practitioner in curriculum design with the Specialist Schools & Academies Trust and the National College for School Leaders.

I am currently working on the development of web technologies to support teaching and learning and am working on the deployment of Chrome books and Google apps across the school. I recently presented at BETT 2014 on the deployment of Google Apps in schools. The video of the presentation can be viewed here.

I am avid user of twitter and regularly take part in #SLTChat. I am also a teachmeet devotee and have presented recently at the inaugural #SLTeachmeet and #TMLondon.

Please feel free to contact me via twitter or my blog. I write about leadership, twitter and developing teaching and learning. I am a blogging novice but am thoroughly enjoying the sense of contributing in a wider sense to the admirable profession of teaching.
