Simon Cousins

With 20 years in IT Support and over 20 years of software development Simon Cousins primarily develops in Visual Studio, creating custom software solutions for a global insurance company. A key aspect of Simon's role is third line IT support within the enterprise environment, consisting of 50+ global offices. This support spans all Windows platforms and includes mobile devices such as mobile and tablet devices. Following a Solution Development Methodology Simon takes projects from concept and design all the way through to deployment and ongoing support through a full life-cycle management approach. As well as managing various software development and deployment projects Simon works with many other departments as a technical resource for both small, medium and large projects.

Core skills that Simon brings to his role include software development; software design; software planning, management and reporting; e-Discovery; forensic data collection and examination; along with an ongoing third line technical support of operating system, infrastructure and software.

Simon has an interest in technology, software development, the internet, cloud technologies, forensics, e-Discovery, malware and virus threat management, and early adopts many devices and technologies ranging from Kindles to the iPhone.
