Simon Dubock has been actively involved with several charities, working as a volunteer in a number of different roles. He underwent a six-week training programme in 2016 to support the work of the Move-On charity in Scotland, going on to work with young homeless people. This role involved the provision of support, guidance, advice and training to assist young people in gaining employment and securing a place to live.

As part of the Young Enterprise charity programme, Simon Dubock spent time working as a volunteer teacher at numerous schools. Here he taught and mentored students working towards a Business Skills GCSE qualification, helping them learn about all aspects of business development from deciding on a product to creating a business plan. During this time, Simon Dubock was also studying for a professional PTLLS teaching qualification, which he achieved at the highest Level 4 grade. This qualification was undertaken with a view to develop a keener understanding of creating environments conducive to learning, as well as to increase confidence and broaden skills.
