My name is Simone C. Arrington and my middle initial "C" holds much more value than just being a beautiful combination of both my grandmothers' first names. "C" stands for who I am as a person and what I have to offer. My Character. My Creativity. My Charisma. My Compassion. My Content. The list goes on.

I have a passion for digital branding strategies, visually-appealing content, and public relations/brand journalism. In other words, I work to make people feel good, look great and sound even better.

My earliest memories of a public relations career stems back to when I was 10 years old watching some reality show on MTV. The woman on the screen's job title was "Public Relations Specialist" and she explained how she set up this huge star-studded event and had all the hottest "A-list" celebrities in attendance. Enticed by the Hollywood aspect, my only understanding at the time was that she could make celebrities come to her events and I was on sold. It was a dream job that only lasted about 48 hours but would be revisited in my 20's. Now, when you ask me what I want to be when I grow up (I'm 23), I’ll tell you that I want to become a Brand Manager for a consumer packaged goods or retail company. My passion is to make my clients and my consumers feel like the true celebrities they are.

Currently, my work as a Communications Coordinator for a distance learning collegiate institution doesn't involve me working with celebrities, but some other stellar stars: our students, alumni, faculty & staff. I represent the college's brand by providing written and visual content that shows that we have the best adult learners and the hardest workers belonging to one of the largest distance learning institutions in the U.S.

When I’m not wearing my college-branding hat, I am building my own personal brand on social media. I am the creator of my very own YouTube channel. I make beauty tutorials, product reviews for retail companies' brand campaigns and personal tags. I started my channel in 2012 and have watched it grow into a 19,000 YouTube subscriber network with over 1 million channel views.

I hold a BA in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations & Advertising from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. To further my communications field expertise, I hope to pursue a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications to achieve my career, academic, and personal goals in the near future.
