Simone Harris

Simone Harris is an entrepreneur, mentor, and philanthropist whose work connects business ownership, financial empowerment, and community service. An entrepreneur since age 22, she has built a diverse background across financial services, real estate, short-term rentals, and transportation, with a passion for helping others turn their ambitions into opportunities.

Simone’s background in transportation and logistics includes her experience as co-owner of Royal World Transport. She brings that industry experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer of Orbit Relay, a company specializing in non-emergency medical transportation and medical courier services. Simone oversees business strategy, operations, and business development, with a focus on reliable service and strong relationships across the healthcare sector.

Simone previously served as CEO of Equity Finance and Tax Services, where she helped individuals and entrepreneurs navigate tax, credit, and real estate strategies to strengthen their financial foundations. Through education and mentorship, she supported aspiring business owners in pursuing entrepreneurship, property ownership, and financial independence. Her leadership of Harris Equity Partners further expanded her experience in short-term rental investing and the home-sharing economy.

With an educational background in communications, political science, and debate, Simone brings strategic thinking and clear communication to her business and advocacy work. Her professional experience includes customer service, inventory management, and merchandising for major retailers, along with service as a mental health advocate at the D.C. Superior Court and work as a sports reporter for the Germantown Post.

As the youngest participant accepted into the Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs Program, Simone shared her knowledge with fellow participants and entrepreneurs in Atlanta’s NPU-V community. Her commitment to educating young adults and aspiring entrepreneurs continues to shape her approach to mentorship and leadership.

Beyond business, Simone is the founder of Voice on the Streets, a nonprofit focused on homeless outreach and supporting people affected by human trafficking. She also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for children in foster care, and serves on the Public Affairs Committee of the Junior League of Los Angeles.

Across her businesses and community service, Simone’s purpose remains consistent: to expand access, create opportunities, and help people build stronger futures.
