Simone Scott is a sports reporter and host for FOX Sports and Scout.

Sports have always been a passion of Simone as she grew up in a family full of athletes. Her dad, Charlie Scott, was the first African American scholarship athlete at UNC, where he played basketball, and then went on to play for 10 years in the NBA, winning a championship with the Boston Celtics in 1976 and an Olympic gold medal in 1968. Also, her youngest brother, Shannon, is a point guard on Ohio State's Men's Basketball team. This environment has given her a unique insight into the world of athletics.

Simone is a 2010 graduate of the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She joined FOX Sports and Scout in February of 2011 covering high school and NCAA football and basketball. During that time has covered the NCAA Tournament, Big Ten Championship Games, and had an exclusive sit down interview with Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany.
