Simon Herzog

Copenhagen, Denmark

I'm a maker, interaction designer, and startup consultant based in Copenhagen.

I'm the Director of Strategy and Management at the NEST, a design-driven and people-centered business incubator.

In 2014 I attended the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design where I worked on a wide range of projects in physical and digital interactivity and art. In collaboration with diverse and talented peers from over a dozen countries and backgrounds I solved problems with a people-centered approach. My strengths are in design thinking, taking initiative, and quickly learning the skills I need to achieve my goals.

Previously I worked in the New York startup scene, first at Gust, the leading platform for early-stage investment, and next at Kollabora, a community for makers and the DIY scene.

Before that I studied sociology at Columbia University in New York, after a year working in an Austrian prison for heroin addicts.
