Simon Lever is the founder/owner of Levco Limited (the company behind SimplySonos, Simply Sound and Vision, and BluCube Loudspeakers). Simon is also an IBM employee of 27 years (as of 2015) responsible for negotiating large, complex transactions with multinational clients.
Founded in December 2004, at the beginning of an incented sabbatical year, Levco is a specialist reseller/distributer of consumer electronics.
Initially focusing on Sonos and related products, Levco/SimplySonos achieved sales revenues of £1.5m in their first 12 months of trading and have grown steadily since then. They took early, pro-active, marketing initiatives to help Sonos launch in the UK and remain as Sonos' largest single outlet worldwide. At the time of writing (2015) Simply Sound and Vision had supplied 7.45% of all Sonos systems in the UK market.
Levco's BluCube business manufactures and distributes high quality in-ceiling and in-wall loudspeakers both to the trade and directly to the end user. The price performance of BluCube speakers is their key selling point. Time and again users praise their sound quality and their discrete appearance.
With an extensive network of customers and trade partners added to skills in understanding and explaining technology in simple or advanced terms, Levco is uniquely well positioned to partner with entrepreneurs launching new products into the UK market.
With a passion for aviation dating back to childhood, Simon learned to to fly as part of the Royal Air Force CCF and Yorkshire Universities Air Squadron.
