Often dance is viewed as a hobby: as something people enjoy to do during a party or an event. What many people fail to see is how detailed an art form dance truly is. Dancers are able to express themselves through movement and style. I have been dancing since the age of two. However while most young girls took tap, ballet, and jazz, I took Irish Dance.

I am a five time New England Irish Dance Champion, ranked second in North America, and thirteenth in the World. I have performed with Dropkick Murphy’s, a Boston Irish punk rock band. With the Dropkicks I have opened for Aerosmith, performed on Fenway Park at the seventh game of the World Series, danced with the Boston Pops on the Fourth of July and performed with Bruce Springsteen. I have volunteered my time at countless schools, nursing homes and functions teaching dance and performing. I have been a Lead Teacher at the Forbes School of dance for 7 years. Irish Dancing has been an amazing part of my life, the biggest part of my life.
