Siobhan Hodgson

Freelance actor, director, photographer, travel writer, documentarian. Siobhan Hodgson's career highlights include working in the theatre, television, film and media industry as an actor, scriptwriter, director, travel writer, photographer and documentarian. On stage and in front of the camera Siobhan is a versatile character actor. In production and media she excels in design thinking, creating dynamic concepts and scripts and directing and co-ordinating film and video shoots. As a documentarian, Siobhan specialises in storytelling that captures the essence of humanity and when necessary is a catalyst for innovative change. Siobhan first studied her craft at the University of Cape Town and later acquired more skills at the New York Film Academy and The Darkroom in Florence, Italy. Siobhan also spent four years working abroad as an English and Drama Teacher in Rome, Istanbul, Moscow and New York and two years globe-trotting as a travel writer, volunteer and backpacker in South America, India and Africa. Siobhan is a tenacious advocate for mindful compassion, innovative education, joy and adventure.
