Hi there, I'm Síofra. My pronouns are she/her. I am an author and freelance consultant, with a focus on researching the varied creative voices within queer and trans communities, neurodivergent communities, and disability communities.

Inspired by my varied career as a community development worker, interior designer, disability arts and policy advocate, and social housing worker, my writing and consultancy work centres upon a passionate belief that via creative expression, positive community interconnection and change can occur.

In 2025 I completed a doctoral degree through Deakin University, researching the trans literary voice in Australia (via analysis of a selection of locally-archived trans and gender-diverse zine publications).

As a European-descent settler (IE, UK, DE, NL, FI, BE) on Aboriginal land in Naarm (Melbourne), I acknowledge the people of the Kulin Nation, whose sovereignty of this land has never been ceded. I pay my respects to their Elders, past, present and future.
