Sissie Liang

Hi! My name is Sissie Liang, and I'm a senior at Troy High. I personally love reading 'get to know me' bios, so here are some fun facts I think you should know about me before exploring any further.

1. My name is pronounced like See-see, which is definitely not what people expect at first; apparently I was named after an Austrian queen who died from a needle stab wound (yikes!) I really hope I don't go that way

2. I always, and I mean always, have at least one lip balm on me. I never go anywhere without mine--no chapped lips here!

3. Coffee really has no effect on me, so I love drinking multiple cups a day (with tons of syrup and milk, of course)

4. I'm super indecisive. I couldn't even begin to tell you how much trouble I had picking out a theme color for this blog. Although it's annoying at times, my indecisiveness has actually allowed me to try things I never would have tried on my own in an attempt to make a better decision.

5. I love to talk! One of my favorite pastimes is just to talk with just about anyone about everything. DECA has really given my incessant talking an outlet, and I honestly enjoy every moment of it (barring the four-hour-long awards ceremony we have to sit through)

6. Here's a fun little fact about me: I used to wear red lipstick every single day in 8th grade to school, and I honestly thought I looked good. Looking back on those tragic choices, I take more caution now and have (thankfully) improved my skills since then.

7. One thing that I cherish the most is my friends and family. They honestly mean the world to me and I don't think that I would have been able to make it this far without them (oh my that sounds like an Oscar speech)

8. One of my favorite pastimes is to curate my Instagram feed. I love testing out how pictures go together and seeing all of my memories together on one page (on that note, go follow my Instagram :))

9. Currently, my favorite things are geese and reading the synopsis' of scary movies on Wikipedia, because I don't have the time nor the courage to watch those movies all the way through. Geese are just so cute and they brighten my day every time I see the flock that lives near my school.

10. It makes me uncomfortable when lists or the volume is not in increments of 5. This is partly why I have this last point; so I can make that perfect list of 10 things :)
