Six Sigma Global Institute

Emphasizing the principles of its operation-management certification courses, Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI) strives to offer its services at a relatively low cost by eliminating waste and improving performance. SSGI’s Yellow Belt certification courses, for instance, are priced at $99 and focus on introductory process improvement topics such as control charts, control response plans, and multi-vari chart analysis.

SSGI offers three other such courses, with the last being the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. The institute also has programs for healthcare, project management, and data analytics, all of which can be accessed via multiple devices and are accredited by the Project Management Institute. Clientele ranges from industry leaders like Boeing and Microsoft to educational institutions such as Kent State University.

SSGI was founded by Barry Shore, PhD, who has more than 40 years of experience in business- improvement processes and authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles on the subject. He has also published four different books, one of which earned an award from McGraw-Hill.
