Sixteen Ramos
Entrepreneur and blogger in Bacoor, Philippines
I started being an entrepreneur at the age of 20, focusing on global online retail and social entrepreneurship. Having been trained in and exposed to alternative and holistic health care, I've grown passionate about wellness, fitness, health, anti-aging and beauty. My passion led me to the creation of the NuGirls platform with the purpose of teaching millennials how to manage their own small businesses 100% online. Currently, I manage teams of online entrepreneurs in the Philippines, Australia, Spain, and the USA, bringing world-class wellness and personal care products all over the world. I am constantly expanding my global team while teaching the basics of online business, enabling people to work from home. The NuGirls currently has 30,000 in its distributor force. Because of the 100% social media-based business model I pioneered in the Philippines, I've been invited to train entrepreneurs in the USA, France, Vietnam, and Australia.
As a social entrepreneur, I also spend a lot of my time rehabilitating malnourished children all over Manila through regular feeding programs. Through the Nourish the Children initiative, I've helped feed over 400 million meals in Malawi, Fiji, China, and the Philippines.
As a great lover of music, arts, and different cuisines, I spend whatever free time I have on discovering new restaurants, listening to music, watching musicals, and visiting cultural events.
I am a proud of alumnus of the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, where I earned an award for Best in Thesis for my work on Israel and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs.
