Sjoerd van Esch
Born in Oisterwijk, a small village in the south of Holland, in 1971, in an early stage I was determined to become a professional career in a nautical environment. After being caught on an early age by what today is my biggest passion, sailing, starting a Sailingschool was my main goal. After studying in Breda my working life started though by coïncidence at the Belgian Beer Brewery Palm Breweries as a Rayonmanager Off-Trade market. In 1997 CARe Schadeservice (collision repair company) was searching people to expand their commercial activities, which was very much appealing to my interest in cars and carbusiness. At the end of 2000 I exchanged once more the automotive branche to return to the world of beers, where I became commercially responsible for the brand Grimbergen Abdijbier in the Dutch On-Trade market. In the end it has appeared that I have more 'fuel' running through my vains than there is 'beer' running through it, which led to a return to CARe Schadeservice to focus myself entirely and exclusively on the clients in the Insurance market. This role brought me extended experience with a broad scope of different parties in the branche and the issues they represent. In the same period I succesfully ended a study at The Business School Netherlands. From July 2006 I've worked for Kwik-Fit Nederland B.V. for 2,5 years, where I was responsible for the business development of their newest activity, glassrepairservices. Here also my main focus was on clients in the insurance market. Besides that I developed new serviceconcepts in coöperation with insurancecompanies to add value on their proposition with non-insurance based Kwik-Fit services. Furthermore I was closely involved in the development and implementation of projects that lead to simplification of the damagemanagement processes, at Kwik-Fit as well as at our clients. In the last year (2009) I've been working for ABS Autoherstel BV (Collision repair) as Director of Sales & Marketing. With more then 90 outlets, ABS is the biggest collision repair company in The Netherlands, containing the best entrepreneurs in the sector. Here I was working on projects for leasingcompanies and other clients, besides the Insurance market. As of the first of January 2010, I started my own company under the name MotivePro International, with three main activities: 1. MotivePro International specializes on support to companies who have a difficulty being positively different on their product or service to their c
