Shiv Kapoor

Shiv Kapoor (born 24 February 1992) is an Indian-American internet entrepreneur who is best known as the founder of Sperse, a leading meta search engine with head quarters out of New York. Shiv currently also serves as the CEO of NameTrips.com, Inc. a Internet-based travel website focused on making online travel better and more affordable.

Shiv was born in Delhi, India to Kishan Chand Kapoor and Shakila Devi Kapoor. In 1992, his parents received a visa and moved to Germany when Shiv was only 2 months old. He grew up in Germany until the age of 14 when he moved to New York with his family to further his education. Shiv attended Bethpage High School in Bethpage, New York and graduated in 2010. He is currently attending the New York Institute of Technology.

Although Shiv has worked at many other start-ups, he continues his journey to develop and release more and more innovative web platforms in the future. Some of his ventures include Sperse - a leading meta search engine, Virouz - a internet advertising platform, Coupanova - a online coupons website and NameTrips - a internet-based travel website.
