Subir Kumar Biswas

I currently hold two Master of Science degrees having Bachelor (honors) in Forestry with major in "Wood Science". My second Masters' degree is in Pulp and Paper Technology from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand with having two awards for outstanding academic performances. I have secured “excellent” mark for my research work as well which I am about to patent. Since my undergraduate studies, I have been involved with wood-based products research and published several research articles in various international journals. Recently, I have worked on the development of chitin-nanofibers reinforced transparent acrylic plastic nanocomposites for possible implications in the high-performance OLED development. In involving so, I have seen an excellent future of wood-cellulose based novel products like transparent nanocomposites for high-performance structural applications including automotive and aviation industries. Therefore, I am seeking for a related research position which will able me to work on the development of advanced forest-based products for advanced applications.
