Samuel Kale Ewusi PhD

Dr Samuel Kale Ewusi has more than ten years experience working in the area of strengthening democratic governance, enhancing human security, conflict management, post conflict peace building, human rights and post-conflict justice in the academia, research and consultancy. He teaches a course in political economy of conflict at the UPEACE main campus in Costa Rica and coordinates research in governance and security at the Africa Programme in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has taught at universities in South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo. He is a visiting Professor at several Universities in Africa especially the Great Lakes region of Africa. His research interest is in the role of economic and political governance systems in conflict prevention and post conflict peace-building. He enjoys travelling and playing golf.
