Skibeatz is a record producer, musician and MC originally from North Carolina and was discovered in NYC by DJ Clark Kent. Skibeatz was originally known as "MC Will-Ski" and in the 1980s, he was a member of the group Original Flavor, the first group managed by future recording industry executive DAMON DASH In the mid-90's, Skibeatz was working on duo CAMP LO'S debut album UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT when Dame called him in to work on the debut album of his own artist, JAY-Z. Jay's album, REASONABLE DOUBT, was released in 1996, marking Ski's first major production placement. Skibeatz produced four tracks off the album, including the hit singles "DEAD PRESIDENTS" and "FEELIN' IT" to name a few. Recently, Skibeatz return from his hiatus and has joined forces with DD172 New York Media Collective founded by DAMON DASH and his partner MCKENZIE EDDY. They have given Skibeatz the opportunity start his new brand of music Skibeatz 24 Hour Karate School through Bluroc Records. Since then Skibeatz has worked with the likes of Curren$y, Smoke DZA, McKenzie Eddy, Tabi Bonney, Murs, Freddie Gibbs, Mos Def, Jay Electronica, Jean Grae, Terry Walker and many other great musicians, MC's and singers. A master in the artistry of music production, Skibeatz trained 24 hours a day to give fans a 100% all original, sample free, masterpiece of his level of skills and accumulated talent.
