“Skill HER” is a social enterprise that addresses lack of practical vocational skills in young girls by teaching them how to make fast foods and baking to boost their standard of living. We target school dropouts, orphans and the homeless in rural Uganda that are vulnerable with no hope and we help them turn their challenges into opportunities. Our goal is simple; We inspire them through workshops, make them understand their potential and help them utilize the little resources they have at their disposal.

We currentlyhave 30 young girls in our program. In the next 3 to 5 years, we aim atconstructing restaurants, hotels and Kitchen households across a number ofvillages to act as teaching grounds but as well employ a number of them toreduce the worrying unemployment rate in Uganda
