Samantha Jeans

I am a lover of animals, travel, laughter, literature & art and am currently enrolled in my final year of Elementary Education at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I have a passion for all subject areas and view myself as a lifetime learner. In my opinion learning never ends - there is always something of value to be learned from new research, our daily interactions and experiences.

I have a deep interest in social change & development as well as diverse learners. I try my best to teach the "whole child" by incorporating elements of creative movement, yoga and other forms of instruction that may be deemed "non traditional" into my classroom (when appropriate and possible).

When I am not teaching, my time is best spent with family & friends and my two adorable dogs. I love all forms of music, being outside, writing, painting, being active and lending a helpful hand.
