Why Q & A.
Q. Why did you decide to pursue a career in finance?
A. While enrolled in accounting 101, and experiencing a very boring professor, a spark was ignited. I understood and liked debits and credits. Nerdy? Yes. But I was struck by the precision of the balance sheet and income statement.
Q. So many marriages start with great hope and promise but end in failure. What is the glue that has kept you and Cathy as you say "happily married."
A. Primarily, a 5 letter word spelled C-A-T-H-Y. My wife is extraordinary. She is a woman of deep faith, who is quick to forgive. Cathy also is patient, confident, trusting, trustworthy, and enormously outreaching and friendly too. In addition, Cathy is loyal and dependable. Undergirding these traits is her humility. And last but not least, she's also fine. I've learned that when I follow her example I am a better person, husband, father, paw-paw, friend and business man.
