Once (okay, still) gainfully employed as a sharp business executive, I used the toll roads with reckless abandon, filled my car with nothing less than 92 octane fuel, and would purchase the best cat food money could buy…for my cats.

By day, I’m a business developer and strategist for US government clients; by night I’m an exhaustive writer of belletristic prose, poetry, vignettes. Yes, a writer first, author second...and above all that, a full time single parent. I believe philosophy, mysticism, and empirical pursuits bring conscious flowing movement to poetry, work, and play. I attempt subtle, sublime and yet poignant meaning through my writing and speech. Quite simply, "content" should exceed the container of a sentence.

If I'm not racing on the road or in the water, I’m racing the remaining battery life on my computer and I am the last one to withdraw from a rich and abiding conversation (sobhets) with sufi's to goofies. I draw inspiration from indulging the works of the deep mystics and ancient poets and thinkers... and my brilliant contemporaries in the written, spoken, and visual arts.

About.me is a way to learn About.you so we can figure out if there is an About.us. I'm here for collaborating, not dating. Prosing not posing. I am working on several collections of writing that somehow bring goodness to the planet through my readers. Spoken and written words carry inspirational capital - invest wisely. Each word is metaphor for something far deeper within our consciousness - we must write and read responsibly.

Please see www.fadethelines.com, this is a growing passion for a noble cause. Looking for Washington, D.C. area collaborators and a web-site developer (something I'm not!)

I blog (creative pieces) to crickets and empty auditoriums on http://www.phosphorimental.com/.

I seek writing and speaking gigs and relish opportunities to explore overly optimistic ideas.
