Paul "Skippy" Lee

Welcome. I'm Paul, but most of the people I know (including my wife) call me Skippy.

Some people have expressed an interest as to why I am called Skippy. So here goes...

When I was around 14 (about 1990ish) I attended a youth holiday where there were many kids around the same age as me that I didn't know. The leaders of the holiday decided to play a "get to know you game" where you were each given a piece of paper with the name of an animal written on it. It doesn't take a genius to work out I had Kangaroo.

The idea of the game was to make the noise and action of said animal as well as notice if any other person was also making the same noises and actions. Once you identified if someone else could be the same animal as you, you were asked to group together, sit down and introduce yourself.

As the groups started to sit down I soon realised that no other person had Kangaroo, therefore I was left on my own jumping up and down while making a "tut tut" noise, as well as looking like a total idiot :D

One of the leaders then thought it would be a great idea to call me Skippy!
