C, C++ developer. Python scripter. This is how I would describe myself. My inspiration to become a programmer was when I was first introduced to computers at the age of 10. I was always intrested in how things works inside a computer. I started coding by the age of 15. My first projects were on Visual Basic 6.0. I was making different UIs, mocking existing UIs and such. Following years, I was introduced to one of the most powerful languages, C. I instantly fell in love with the language. I am familiar with Kdevelop, Dev-C++, Eclipse and Visual Studio, as UIs. Even though I am familiar with coding in C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Python, I prefer coding in C, C++ coming second to it. I use Python as a scripting language.
Now to talk about academic achievements, I am pursuing my Masters in Informatic from Paderborn University. I have obtained my Bachelor of Engineering, in Computer Science, from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering (SBMJCE), under Visvesvaraya Technological Institute (VTU). I have scored an aggregate of 68%, which is german eqvivalent of 1,7. I am now pursuing my Masters. My specialization is Embedded Systems. My current aggregate score is 2,5 not including Master Thesis. I am currently in search of topics for my thesis.
Looking at my work history, I have a total of 24 months of experience. My first job was at SAP Labs, Bangalore, for the duration of 7 months. Here I worked in several projects, based on Visual Studio, Java and Amazon Cloud Services. The projects involved, migrating tools, written in Visual Basic, from Windows XP to Windows 7. The projects also involved developing a demo CRM system on Amazon Cloud and dispatching user authentications to the requestor. Then I joined the Paderborn University and worked as a Studentische Hilfskraft. Here I worked on FPGA simulations. My work was mainly to house several different circuits on a single FPGA, by implementing bounding boxes. The next position, the current position I am working in, is also as a Studentische Hilfskraft, but in a different group. I am working on building a self monitoring tool for an RTOS. This RTOS is custom built by this group. I have to monitor the state of certain variables in the user space, from kernel space, write those variables to a buffer and allow an external tool to read from this shared buffer.
Well, this is all the stuff about me. So.... um.... yeah. Call me.
