Stevie Kucharski

Hello! You may have been surprised by the photo you see, but I am, in fact, female. With the name Stevie, I tend to give people a surprise, about as many as they give me. Over the 22 years of life, I have received mail from all-boys high schools, been put on the boys basketball team and am still often referred to as "Mr. Kucharski."

Any who, I am currently the advertising adviser at Collegian Media Group, a non-profit organization that houses the student-run newspaper. I get to advise the student staff, create new promotions, evaluate sales revenue and work with some great clients.

Back to the fun stuff. Well, I am a huge movie buff. Absolutely love 'em. I have a collection of approximately 250 movies. The obsession started when I was a small child. My father and I would bond over old Marilyn Monroe movies and from then on - it was love. While I love the classics, my taste spans over many genres. I will watch anything from Texas Chainsaw Massacre to The Lizzie McGuire (I own both). Not only am I collector, I try to make it out to the theater about once every week. Because for me, there is something in the movie-going experience that makes it all the better. It is the smell of the popcorn, the anticipation of the crowd and the previews. Oh, how I love the previews.
