I am a native of Grand Prairie, Texas, and a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry.

While a student at the University I completely immersed myself into the various aspects of campus life. I learned to juggle being a Chemistry major, a band member, and a STEM Scholar.

I played Clarinet and Bass Clarinet in the band throughout my undergraduate years. As an integral member of the band I developed my leadership skills and excelled to section leader.

I became a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority in 2011, and was elected president of the sorority for 2 years. Prior to becoming president, I held several offices including treasure.

I am currently working on a Master's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on the use and implementation of computational chemistry.
