I have been working in AV in one way or another for about 20 years. I've worked as an audio engineer in various capacities both for Front of House and recording, as well as been a videographer, live video producer, and an AV tech for a university. I've also been a writer and content expert for nearly as long, with experience that ranges from training and marketing content to novels, poems, and journalism. I even entertained being a literary scholar for a time, and have a Master's degree in English.

That's why I love my job. It allows me to combine my love of technology with my fondness for storytelling. I work at HARMAN, a Fortune 500 company and the world's only manufacturer of complete audio, video, lighting, and control solutions, where I lead content strategy for the Enterprise group. Serving as an internal thought leader and external brand ambassador, I help craft the stories that explain how our technology helps businesses, schools, governments, houses of worship, retail, hospitality, and large venues.
