The Skywalk
The Skywalk quickly became a go to point on the west rim of the Grand Canyon. Although it is not for those who are afraid of heights it is something to be remembered. This obvious masterpeice was built back in 2007 and Grand Canyon air tours have truly taken off ever since.
The glass and steel structure allows for visitors to get a full 360 degree view of the Grand Canyon. Some tourists can be seen anxiously grasping the edge of this construction while others proudly awe at this wonder and prance accross it. It stands 4,000 feet above the Colorado River and is strong enough to hold 71 million pounds so there are no safety issues here!
Many companies have even found the need to expand their helicopter and airplane fleets to accomodate the request for skywalk tours!
