I am an aspiring social worker with a devotion to all things Community. For the past two years, I've been working at a homeless shelter called Safe Haven. I've become versed in mental health, substance abuse issues, and various aspects of homelessness. Every day brings new challenges, but it also inspires and motivates me.

My most valuable assets to date:

- Over two years of social work experience, working with diverse consumers experiencing both homelessness and mental illness

- Ability to efficiently make complex decisions based on limited information

- Maintaining professional communication with co-workers and consumers alike

- Thriving in a team environment with the ability to innovate, design and implement program improvements

In the future, I'd like to bolster my experience, attain an MSW, and continue to work in the community.
