Stephen LaFreniere
Howland
Steve LaFreniere has worked with several land conservation groups to preserve critical and environmentally sensitive lands in Maine. Some of these groups include The Nature Conservancy, Lands for Maine's Future, York Land Trust and The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. Steve was born and raised in Western Maine. He spent many summers working on his Grandfather's farm. He had always enjoyed working on the farm and in the woods with his grandfather. He obtained his real estate license at the age of 18. Attended Thomas College in Waterville and earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree studying Accounting and Finance. Because of his special interest in Maine lands, he has been involved in the purchasing, developing, and managing of thousands of acres of land and timber for 40+ years. He has accumulated a nice selection of beautiful properties in numerous locations throughout the state of Maine including properties with lake frontage, river frontage, residential home lots, camp lots and large tracts of land which remain in tree growth for conservation purposes. His lands are fully surveyed, with nice roads for easy access to some of Maine's most spectacular views of mountains, pristine forests and lakes for recreational and residential uses.
Steve is proactive in researching, locating, and purchasing only the best quality properties in Maine and has been doing so for over four decades. Some factors in quality properties that he takes special interest in involve the orientation to surrounding views in the area, clean water, healthy forest, roadway access, utility access, adequate water drainage of the lands, and well drained soils for septic systems.
Steve has properties for sale at present which can be viewed in his upcoming website: Land Investments. He is also part owner of Ward Cedar Log Homes, Northeastern Log Homes, Classics Post and Beam Homes and Total Wood Care products.
